LUCKY JETT PROJECT:
excavation and clearing of the shaft was started. Much rock and wood waste was removed, shaft collar better stabilized with concrete and wood shoring. Ladders were installed and partial entry was possible. See image.
Old exploration cuts were being opened where possible for future sampling and mapping.
LUCKY JETT PROJECT:
continued work in and around the shaft consisted of installing additional ladders, providing deeper exploration. Work was halted due to poor air quality, work will continue after the installation of a ventilation system that will get fresher air into the deeper sections.
Sampling in the older cuts that have been opened so far, showed values of 0.09 gold, to 0.191 gold with 0.918 silver per ton. As additional excavations are opened along this vein strike, more sampling will be done. A lot of work has been accomplished at this site and much more will continue.
GOLD WEST PROJECT:
An open cut and short trench were opened near the 35 foot shaft. Larger samples were taken and test milled. Small amount of gold was seen. Another sample from the mine dump showed good gold. Indicating possible better values deeper in the shaft.
Parts of the ventilation system including mine fan have been ordered.
